Welcome to BK Halal Grill. By using our website at bkhalalgrill.com, placing an order with us, or eating our food, you agree to these terms. Read them — they're in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
1. Who we are
BK Halal Grill is a Muslim-owned, family-run halal restaurant operating two locations in Brooklyn, NY:

2. Placing an order
When you place an order on bkhalalgrill.com, you agree that:
- The information you provide (name, phone, delivery address if applicable) is accurate and you have authority to use it
- The payment method you use is yours or you have permission to use it
- You are 18 years or older, or are placing the order with parental supervision
- You'll pick up your order at the location and time you selected, or be available at the delivery address you provided
- You understand that what you pay (subtotal + tax + delivery fee, if any, minus any promo discount) is what your card will be charged
We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion, including (but not limited to) suspected fraud, abuse, or orders we cannot fulfill.
3. Menu, prices, and availability
- Menu items, prices, and availability can change without notice. The price you see at checkout is the price that applies to your order.
- Some items are seasonal, available only at certain times of day, or may sell out. We'll mark items as unavailable when we run out.
- Photos on our website are for illustration. Actual portions may vary slightly from photos.
- If we are unable to fulfill part of your order after you place it (e.g., we sold out of an item), we'll call you to either substitute or refund that item.
4. Halal certification and food preparation
BK Halal Grill is a 100% halal kitchen. We source meat from certified halal suppliers, do not use shared fryers with non-halal oil, and do not use alcohol or pork products on the premises.
Allergens: Our kitchen handles common allergens including dairy, gluten, eggs, sesame, peanuts, and tree nuts. While we take reasonable steps to honor allergy requests noted at order time, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free of cross-contamination. Customers with severe allergies are responsible for assessing their own risk and should call the location directly before ordering.
5. Pickup, dine-in, and delivery
- Pickup: we'll have your order ready by the time you select. If you arrive much later, food quality may decline. We are not responsible for orders not picked up within 4 hours of the ready time.
- Dine-in: we are primarily a pickup-focused restaurant. Limited counter seating may be available; reservations are not accepted.
- Direct delivery (via DoorDash Drive): we partner with DoorDash to deliver orders within our delivery zone. The delivery fee shown at checkout is yours to pay. We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by traffic, weather, or driver availability beyond our reasonable control. If a delivery is significantly delayed or undelivered, contact us within 24 hours.
- Third-party delivery (DoorDash Marketplace, Uber Eats): orders placed through those apps are subject to those companies' own terms. We're the kitchen — they own the delivery experience.
6. Payment
- All payments on bkhalalgrill.com are processed by Stripe. Your card data is encrypted and handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- If your payment fails, your order is not placed. Try again or call the location.
- You authorize us to charge your card for the amount shown at checkout, including any taxes and delivery fees.
7. Refunds and cancellations
Food is perishable, so our refund policy is straightforward:
- Before we start cooking: full refund. Call your location ASAP to cancel.
- After we start cooking, before you pick up: we will not generally refund, since the food is already prepared and cannot be resold. We may, at our discretion, offer store credit.
- If something is wrong with your order (incorrect item, food safety issue, missing item) — call your location within 24 hours and we'll make it right. Common resolutions: a replacement item, store credit, or a refund of the affected item.
- If you didn't pick up your order: no refund. Food was prepared as ordered.
- Refunds (when issued) typically post to your card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
8. Loyalty program
Our rewards program is free to join — by placing an order with a phone number, you're automatically enrolled. Some details:
- You earn 1 point per $1 spent (subtotal, before tax and delivery)
- 100 points = $5 off your next order
- New members earn a 50-point welcome bonus on their first qualifying order
- Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another customer
- We reserve the right to adjust the rewards structure (point values, redemption thresholds) with reasonable notice. Points already earned will not be devalued.
- If we believe a loyalty account is being used fraudulently, we may suspend or close it.
9. Promotional codes
- Promo codes (e.g., WELCOME10, FRIEND5) are subject to the conditions noted at the time of issuance — minimum order, expiration, single-use vs. multi-use, etc.
- One promo code per order unless explicitly stated
- Promo codes have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred
- We reserve the right to cancel codes that are abused or distributed beyond their intended use
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use false names, fake phone numbers, or stolen payment methods
- Place orders you don't intend to pay for or pick up
- Attempt to access parts of our website or systems you aren't authorized to use (e.g., the admin dashboard)
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content (menu, photos, brand assets) for commercial purposes without permission
- Harass our staff, drivers, or other customers
Violation may result in your account being banned and any associated orders cancelled.
11. Intellectual property
The BK Halal Grill name, logo, menu items, photos, and website content are our property or licensed to us. You may not use them for commercial purposes without written permission. Customer photos of our food are welcome on social media — tag us @_bkhalalgrill.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BK Halal Grill's liability for any claim arising from your use of our website or our food is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow this kind of limitation, so this may not apply to you.
13. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kings County, New York. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the website at least 30 days before taking effect. By continuing to use our service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
